English comedian Matt Kirshen, best known for being one of the final seven “Last Comics Standing” in 2007, will be performing at Club Downunder on April 4th! He warmed up the crowd for Jimmy Fallon at last year’s PowWow, and if you weren’t there, now’s your chance to see what you missed! Also, studies have shown that most things sound funnier and wittier when said in a British accent.

English pop duo The Ting Tings (Jules De Martino and Katie White) are hopping across the pond and into Club Downunder on Tuesday, March 31st. You’ve likely heard their single, “Shut Up and Let Me Go” in an iPod commercial, and now you can hear them live at Club Downunder. Their catchy dance pop will make this show one you do not want to miss!

Opening the show is Oakland, California based HOTTUB.

Guerrilla Girls on Tour is a New York City based touring theatre company of national & international renown that creates fresh & original productions celebrating women’s history — past, present & future!

Their work is presented using masks and draws from a variety of classic theatre techniques such as physical theatre, vaudeville and parody resulting in our own unique style that allows us to imaginatively portray a wide range of characters and scenarios with minimal
technical elements. They also train and educate via workshops, gallery exhibits, master classes and community collaborations which have resulted in participatory performance projects and site-specific productions that include local women’s history.
