Dynamic two piece Pattern is Movement are bringing their complex, theatrically informed rock to Club Downunder on Wednesday, February 4th! On All Together, their latest release for Portland’s Hometapes label, they eschew the jagged math-rock of former releases for more melodic (though no less engaging) songwriting.
Local favorites Continental Divide will get things started right with their noisy, jangly pop.

Eugene Mirman, one of the newest “Comedians of Comedy”, will be performing at Club Downunder on Thursday, February 5th! Currently signed to Sub Pop, he’s appeared as an extra on HBO’s “Flight of the Conchords”, Adult Swim’s cult classic “Home Movies”, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and countless other shows and specials. Brooklyn based singer/songwriter Jennifer O’Connor will be performing at CDU once again on Friday, February 6th! She opened for Amy Ray a few weeks ago, so if you missed her, now is your chance to see her headlining! Her honest songwriting and powerful voice caught Matador Records’ attention, and she’s definitely worth checking out.
Haley Bonar, whose album “Big Star” was warmly received by outlets such as Time Out New York and Pitchfork Media, will be opening the show.
