San Francisco’s Sleepy Sun is playing Club Downunder on Tuesday, March 30th! This psychedelic sextet wouldn’t feel out of place in, well, San Francisco in the 1960s. Pummeling drums, thundering, fuzzed-out guitar and bass, and ethereal, disengaged vocals all swirl in a narcotic melange. They’re anachronistic, but I’d say that’s a good thing.
Strangers Family Band, Orlando’s likeminded psych-revivalists, are returning for another sure-to-be-awesome performance to set the mood for Sleepy Sun.
