An Evening with Spoken Word Artist Staceyann Chin

Come to Club Downunder February 23 to see spoken word artist Staceyann Chin perform live. She is a LGBT and political activist and her work has been published in The Washington Post and The New York Times. She was also interviewed for 60 Minutes and Oprah, but is best known as co-writer and original performer in the Tony-award winning Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam on Broadway. Staceyann received the 2007 Power of the Voice Award from the Human Rights Campaign. In 2009, she released her memoir, The Other Side of Paradise, to great critical acclaim.
