with the White Rabbits

Start your semester right with a free concert on FSU’s Union Green! NYC mainstays The Walkmen will bring their critically and popularly lauded brand of dynamic, exciting jangle-pop. They’ve honed their singular sound over the course of five albums, three of which have landed coveted spots on Pitchfork’s year-end top 50 lists. You may have seen them performing on any number of late-night talk shows, or even Fox’s beloved, now-defunct teen-drama, The. O.C.
Brooklyn’s White Rabbits have garnered a lot of hype from the strength of their two albums, and judging from their explosive live performances, it’s deserved. Their percussion heavy indie-rock got the attention of Spoon’s Britt Daniel, who produced their latest LP, It’s Frightening. They earned Letterman’s approval on both of their appearances on the show, and they’ll likely win you over, too.
