Seattle-based Throw Me The Statue will be throwing it down at CDU on September 8. The indie-pop band released their second album, Creaturesque, on August 4. The band has been featured by media-heavyweights NPR and Pitchfork. Their debut album, Moonbeams, cracked the top 20 of “Amazon’s Best of 2008: Top 100 Editor’s Picks” list.

New Zealand’s twee duo The Brunettes and Portland indie-rockers Nurses will be opening.
