WORLD AIDS DAY

Remembrance, Art, Discussion / December 1 – 4

Florida State University, Florida A & M University, and the Florida Department of Health are celebrating World AIDS Day with community events, panel discussions, public rallies and artwork. Come see condom art and watch a life screening of ‘Life Support,’ an HBO film starring actress Queen Latifah. There will also be FREE HIV TESTING!

Monday, December 1st:
Party with a Purpose World AIDS Day Gala / FSU Student Life Building / 7pm. Free food, fun and facts!
Candle light Vigil / FAMU’s Eternal Flame / 5:45pm to 7pm.
Free HIV testing coupons available on a first come, first served basis

Tuesday, December 2nd:
Guest speaker Rae Lewis Thorton / FSU College of Medicine auditorium / 6pm to 8pm.
Free HIV testing coupons available on first come, first served basis

Wednesday, December 3rd:
Community of Unity Cinema Night (viewing of ‘Life Support’) / FSU Student Life Building’s Phantom Theatre / 5pm
Free HIV testing coupons available on first come, first serve basis

Thursday, December 4:
Greek Speaks and condom art display / FAMU Perry Paige Auditorium / 6:30pm to 8pm
